Austin Texas was a beautiful city to have our 8th reunion. Austin is a place where it seldom rains, however it rained 3 of the 4 days while we were there.

Austin Texas was a fun place to visit. We went to the state capital of Texas, the LBJ library and one evening found our group in a boat under the Congress bridge watching the bats fly out. |

Ed Mahoney was the operations office aboard our ship. We feel lucky having our officers attend our reunions. Also, we could use the leadership. |

Dale & Norlea Anderson
Dale & Norlea are from Gardner Kansas (near Kansas City) and they are fun to be with.

Judy & Bob Hand
Bob & Judy traveled all over Austion with Dale & Norlea. They visited the Texas State Capital, took a tour and met a lobbiest, then visited the LBJ library, took a boat trip to the Congress bridge to see the bats and one dark night went to 6th street to see the bars and music row. We saw police and paddy wagons, drunks, bikers and hookers. We did not get out of the car and slowly proceeded out of there. |

Jim & Bert are looking good. This picture was taken in a rare moment with bert's mouth closed. During the visit to watch the bats exit the Congress bridge, we found Bert has a deep fear of bats.
