Heinzman and Max Putz

I do not remember Heinzman. Someone please send some information on him.


Christmas 1954
Wish I could list all thier names. Maybe someone out there could give me some names.
Liberty in Yokosuka ---- 1953
The first sailor is unknown, the second sailor is gene pierce,3rd sailor is Don Bennett and 4th is Ray Sizemore.
Background is Yokosuka Japan 1953. Shops with bamboo walls, very courteous people, and very narrow streets. Ricksha's transporting people. The huge American Cadillac and SUV's requiring wide roads were not in Japan yet.
Don Ashworth -- Marvin Holloway
Don Ashworth was an RM (Radioman)
Someone will have to inform me What Holloway's rate was.
Louie Caroots
Caroots is another one I don't remember. I will fill in more details when someone informs me.
Bud Pennington
Bud Pennington was in the operations Department, I think, but I don't remember his rate.
Bob, Max, Holly and Reb
Bob and Max were both Quartermaster signalmen, I don't remember Holloway and Reb's rate.
LST 1122 at Cho Do Island
I remember Cho Do Island was very close to the Manchurian border where our soldiers were fighting.
LST 1073
The LST 1073 was another ship envolved in supplying our troops.
Shaw-Ordonio-Belcher-Tancock
Shaw was a Radioman
Ordonio was an Electronics tech.
Belcher was Quartermaster
Tancock--I don't remember
Don Ashworth
Don was a radioman.
Four members of the crew
I don't remember much about the first three but Belcher was a great poker player.
Jo Ann and Russell Nephew Jr.
When Jim Currie tried to contact Russell Nephew, his son, Russell Nephew Jr. informed him his father had passed on. When informed about the reunion, Russell Jr. said he would like to come in his fathers place. I wish someone would send me a picture of Russell Nephew, I would like to post it on this web site.
